Can't help with the monumental inscription.
But here's the burial register (need to be logged in to FamilySearch)
William John Marks buried 29 Dec 1922
It's actually compartment number 142 rather than 42
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSGK-QSM8?i=485&cat=705071

And here is the grave register for compartment 142
Grave 81 (Marks) seems to have a couple more burials

Here's burial number 45654
Hannah Marks
buried 26 April 1961
age 75
compartment 142 grave 81
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-896P-K6K3?i=555&cat=705071

If there is a later burial in that grave it's not available online.

Thanks that’s probably the reason I couldn’t find it, I actually got the information from the local council bereavement services but never knew about the records on family search. I will take another trip down there to have a look.
