Firparknook, Kirtlebridge
« on: Tuesday 20 February 18 14:21 GMT (UK) »
Hello everyone,

My ancestors lived at a place called "Firparknook" between 1829 and 1834
I have attached an old map showing Firparknook.
What I would like to know is what Parish does Kirtlebridge belong to for the above years?
On a modern day map Firparknook is no longer there?
Any information or photos would greatly appreciated.

Regards
Charles
names: Bell, Aitken.
areas: St.Marys Carlisle, Annan, Ecclefechan, Hutton & Corrie, and Bothwell in Lanarkshire.

Hi.  Firparkneuk is still in existence. The current owner is Mrs Ferguson who has an interest in family and local history.  Kirtlebridge (I think) is in Annan parish although it must be very close to the boundary with Middlebie.
