New York Death Certificate

Please could someone tell me where to order a certificate from New York, I ordered one some time ago, and maybe things have changed, what are the costs, the period is 1952 and its for family history.

Now that you have asked I just checked the death index ,she died in Rochester.

It is likely faster to order from the city of Rochester than from NY State.  The state takes 6-8 months.
