Hi all ,my name is John Alexander Williams and I am the great grandson of John Trewren Williams born ,I believe ,in Ludgvan Cornwall about 1847 died 1899 age 52 in Broken Hill South Australia.
I am trying to trace his history and find any relatives I might have in the district .His mothers name was Jennifer Trewren and I believe his fathers name was Richard Taylor Williams .
I am a 73 living in Melbourne Victoria Australia .Any help would be greatly appreciated

Ludgvan, Cornwall.  father Zacharias,  mother Ann. Father occupation Tinner.

Do you know when John Trewren emigrated? I can't find a marriage for him in Cornwall.

He Migrated in a ship called the" Ernestine "from Plymouth on the 19th May 1866 .Arrived in Australia on the 4th September 1866 .Married a Elizebeth Daw on 15th April 1871 at Moonta Mines South Australi where he was working

I've found 3 siblings of John Trewren...

Richard Williams. baptised 23 Apr. 1843.
James Henry Williams. baptised 26 Jun 1851.
Philip Williams. baptised 26 May 1855.

All at Ss Ludgvan and Paul the Apostle, Ludgvan. Cornwall.  To Richard and Jennifer.
