Any information would be very much appreciated.

It was 280 George Street in 1936. Quite a bit on the net about this building.

Next to the Parish Hall, royal arms above the entrance, always wondered why?

Do you know whether there would be a Glasgow Post Office Directory for 1943/1946
which might list the names of of people in the Inland Revenue Office.

Faces the north frontage of the City Chambers Cupcake! This shows the red sandstone Parish Hall with the cream sandstone IR Offices to the left.

The 1941/42 Directory has a large section re Inland Revenue it refers only to information about Tax rates etc not the people working there. The 1943 has even less information although in addition to the offices listed in the image there are several other address spread throughout the City Centre area associated with the Inland Revenue.

In addition to the George Street Site there were others :-

Many thanks for answering my query. Thought it may have named the people working there.
