Do you accept the 1861 census in York as your George?  The Alvina/Levena daughter does seem to indicate it is your family.  If you accept that George is widowed.  Young George, 1, might be the cause of his widowing.  So Elizabeth is dead by 1861 and if there were two wives before that with the second dying before 1861 census.
The 1861 census does track back to the 1851.
The Sarnia library might be able to provide you with some obituaries.  Some contain lots of information and others are simply notices of death.
