Hi all

Thanks for all your advice I’ll look more closely when I get home this evening. The people I’m looking for are Margaret and Michael Lee

Thank you

Here's a quote from the other thread so I assume husband & wife
I also have the birth certificate of Mary Ann Lee:
b. 20 Sep 1870
Father: Michael Lee / Cinder fitter (I think)
Mother: Margaret Lee
The address looks like Pond Park, Tredegar ... though its difficult to decipher

Cant be doing with reading through another thread -

but might this be Mary Ann and mother Margaret?  Could Leahy be an error for Lee - they are boarders in a house so maybe the householder hadn't got it quite right?

1871
38 Geo Street, Bedwelty Tredegar
H/H of Rees Rees, a puddler and his family
Margaret Leahy 20 married Boarder occupation looks like "Home breaker" (?) bn Llanelli
Mary Ann Leahy 8 mths bn Tredegar
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

Mary Ann Leahy 8 mths bn Tredegar

After staring at the home breaker forever, I think it says stone breaker?
I did see a Michael Lee in Tredegar (born Ireland) when I was searching before, and from memory, he was a bootmaker and married to a Sarah, so I discounted him.  Maybe I shouldn't have, if Margaret is trying to support herself and child......
