Don't know if he is yours, but in the 1963 Voters list for Simcoe North, there is an Albert George Kitchen, garage operator, with  Ivy Beatrice Kitchen, housewife.  There is one more Kitchen living there, possible a living son, so giving initials only, A. D. Kitchen, mechanic.
Address was 178 Essa Rd.

Thanks Sandra ;D

You posted some dates for Albert G and Ivy Kitchen back in Reply 1.  Perhaps up2you2 could contact the Barrie Public library to see if they have any obituaries for Albert and Ivy around these dates.

https://www.barrielibrary.ca/

The address bbart found is in Barrie.

The OGS (Simcoe County Branch) Settlers database has an Albert and Ivy Kitchen buried in Barrie Union Cemetery.

https://simcoe.ogs.on.ca/online-settlers-database/

There is also an Albert Dale Kitchen buried in the same cemetery (in case this is the A D Kitchen found by bbart)

That's the same name as the voter's list.  :)

You might have this information already.... ???

Elizabeth Caroline Kitchen Eaton (1921-2000) is buried in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener/Waterloo.  Do you have her obituary?  It could give some information about her siblings.

It looks like Ivy Bright arrived in Canada in 1924 at age 11, a British Home Child.

Library and Archives Canada has theses records apparently connected to Ivy.....

http://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/discover/immigration/immigration-records/home-children-1869-1930/immigration-records/Pages/list.aspx?Surname=Bright&GivenName=Ivy&

This one in particular appears to connect her to the Kitchens.....

What a wonderful result - first class to all concerned here, especially RunKitty can't thank you enough.

My late reply is down to the time difference of Phuket in Thailand.

Yes I did find Elizabeth Caroline Kitchen Eaton (1921-2000) obituary, unfortunately nobody came back to me with any leads.

I will now try to get Albert and Ivy's obituaries from the Barrie Public library.
Also a DOD of Albert Dale Kitchen from the Barrie Union Cemetery, then again hopefully his obituary.
In this cemetery there are other Kitchens:

Margaret Kitchen Cutten 1926-24th July 2016
M. Allison Gardner 1940-1999 wife of Albert Dale Kitchen
Stuart G. Kitchen 1919-1986 and Margaret 1925-

What a powerful medium this is.
