I have made a lot of progress on this family, especially Clifford L Kitchen 1927-2003.
Finally ascertaining his date of death, I have now got his obituary.
All present and correct except for one new entry a sister - Ruth Kitchen.

Now what is so maddening about this is I'm sure I came across a Ruth Kitchen before, but I cannot find her.
Her date of birth could be anywhere from 1900 to 1930.
Her parents lived in Batteaux, Simcoe.

Two of the offspring have also eluded me to date, so any further details would be greatly appreciated:

Albert Dale Kitchen 1940- (not in his parents cemetery)
Donna I Kitchen who married Robert P Cameron

Hi there...

It looks like *Sandra* posted burial info about Donna I Kitchen and Robert P Cameron back in reply #4.

And RunKitty posted info about the possible burial of Albert Dale Kitchen back in reply #13.

Were you able to follow this info up?

Point taken.
Donna I Kitchen - Stayner Union Cemetery 7661 Hwy 26 , Stayner, Nottawasaga Township (Concession 3, Part Lot 27)  Simcoe County, Ontario.

Also an entry for a Robert P Cameron who might have been the husband of Donna  ???
They are inscribed on the headstone, but no dates.
I had assumed that they might be still alive, alternatively I can ask the cemetery concerned to clarify.

Regarding Albert Dale Kitchen 1940-, however this cemetery has confirmed to me that he is not there.

How odd  ???.

With no dates on that tombstone, I also wonder if that means the 2 might still be alive?

And Albert Dale is on the list of burials for Barrie Union in 2 different websites....

http://ocfa.islandnet.com/ocfa-search.php

https://simcoe.ogs.on.ca/online-settlers-database/

I wonder whether he might also still be alive and it is just his name on a tombstone with no dates yet? Given his birth year this is surely possible?

Albert Dale Kitchen also went under Dale Kitchen - you may be aware that the Kitchen family operated Kitchen Motors at 178 Essa Road. Barrie Ontario.

Yes evidence from last year that he could well be still alive.

Amazing having all these names inscribed on headstones.
Maybe because they felt others wouldn't, or they got some kind of discount.
Or that in time such services would cost a lot more.

All done and dusted, took a while, tremendous sense of achievement, over coming what I thought originally would be impossible.
Just goes to show that where there is a will there's a way.
Sure it takes time, but I got the satisfaction in knowing that I was the first to document all concerned.
