Welcome to roots chat

Its difficult to know how to go about things when you are new, but you are making people dizzy with the multiple posting. Never mind,  mistakes happen for us all when we are new.

So, in order for folk to help, we need to know what YOU know about these people. If you can tell us what records you have for them and where you found them, then we can look and see if there is anything more out there.

Take your time, think about what you 'do' know and what records you already have, tell us that.
Then think about what you 'want' to know - what's the first thing you want to know - where /when they married? where/when they died?  where they were for a particular census year? Sometimes finding out one thing at a time helps us to focus and find out other things. Tell us that too.

Then post back (into this thread, please don't start another) and others can look and see if they are able to help.

Boo

Hi John,

I have just merged all your topics together under Ireland to avoid confusion and duplication of research.

Regards

Sarah

Very sorry about the death of your daughter.

Searching in Ireland in the 1840's will be difficult without knowledge of what area.

I believe a Scottish death certificate may gave details of the parents though?

I would exhaust all Scottich records before looking in Ireland in your position
McClean, Kelly, Murray, Higgins, McAnulty (McNulty, Conalty, Kinolty), Morgan, Rafferty, McPolin (All Co Down, Ireland) Bowman, Hooper(Yorkshire)
