ahhh.... i read it as (wedding resistration in uttoxeter 1699) edward millington OF 'souldios. ill re

In common with Dawn M I read it as 'Edward Millington A Souldior', i.e. it is an occupation not a place-name  :)

Correcting myself: I see that that the penultimate letter is actually an 'e', so it reads 'souldier'
