Anyone having trouble with Ancestry Free Day today?

that included Scotland, but I can't open Scottish records

I don't think that Ancestry has many actual Scottish records, for example it has the transcriptions of some of the censuses, but not the actual images. There are no BMD as far as I know, as I think the only way to access these is through Scotlands People.

I ask for Lanarkshire, Scotland and it gives results from Massachusetts. I specify an exact name or place, and it gives a random assortment. 

Have you made sure that you've set Collection Focus to UK and Ireland as the default is All Collections?

Thanks, Groom.  I did set it to UK, but I'll maybe try again later, just in case it had reset without me noticing.

As far as I'm aware, and I have Premium membership, there are almost no images of Scottish records.  There are transcriptions for the census 1841-1901, and nothing at all for 1911.  The same appears to apply to FindMyPast.

Scotland's People appear to have a monopoly.
