Birth of a David Brand Wallace in Camlachie in 1907. From here www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=778744.0 Amelia's parents were David Brand and Mary Scott. Good fit with Scottish naming pattern.... ::)

A David Wallace died in Lennoxtown in 1998, aged 91.

Monica

I have just done that search myself and wondered and just came to ask option ha ha, Going to buy the birth record now... probably won't be now  ???

With all of Annette's great info on the Clark family, Robert's maternal line through Sarah Jane, could Amelia have had one more child?

JOSEPH ADAM CLA(rk?) WALLACE 1913
644/2 429
Camlachie

When did Amelia die and what was the cause of death for her?

Monica

ADDED: Sorry, you mentioned already Amelia died in 1913. What did she die from?

Hey...think you might have missed these posts from your other thread  ::)

Mary Wallace  (age 5) is with her grandparents David and Alice Brand in 1911. They are in Camlachie 644/2 28/13. There is also a David Wallace age 3 listed with them. Possibly David Brand Wallace born Camlachie 1907. He appears to have died in Lennoxtown in 1998 age 91.

Ignore ref to a Joseph Adam Clark Wallace. There is a matching death for him I think in 1989 in Glasgow. Mother's maiden name is showing as PARK.

Ok. He is sorted then  ;)

So, you now have Robert and Amelia and their 3 children, Robert, Mary and David. You also have their 1911 census entries sorted now. Possible leads on deaths for Robert and David will hopefully let you work to back to their marriages etc.

Can I ask, following Amelia's death in 1913, have you checked the two marriages in Camlachie from 1913-20 for a Robert Wallace? Just thinking with young children and a widower, he may have married and remained in Camlachie.

From earlier, you have your g grandmother Mary's marriage cert? If so, what did it say?
