My Gfather worked on the Panama Canal. I  have the letter he sent to his Family in 1884 from Medina North. So I assume he worked on the unsuccessful attempt by what I believe was a French consortium? Although I have not done any research in that field.

Cannot find them. I know he went to Panama then Philadephia and was never heard off again. I have searched both in Ireland and Scottish census for GGmother. But would like marrige record. My Gmother married in Glasgow in 1891.
