Help with Dating a Photo - Brown Family - SE England

Hi there

I'm sorry this is a pretty poor photo - I'm sure it relates my Brown forebears, because the gentleman in the photo looks like my dad. But I've no idea who he or the 3 ladies are. My Brown family variously lived in Essex (Woodford), Surrey (Cheam) and London (Limehouse, Stepney, Islington, and Kentish Town)

I'm just after people's thoughts on the date. The photo itself is very small, looks ancient and is in poor condition but the dresses the ladies are wearing look relatively modern - perhaps 20th Century.

If I knew the date, I might be able to have a better guess as to who the people in it are. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Judging by the dress style and also the bobbed hair of the girl nearest the camera,also
 the neckline on the girl in the white dress next to her, I`d say  1920s to early 1930`s.
I have a photograph of my Mum and dad before they married( which was 1933),not sure how long before they  married.
Mum`s hair and shift -like dress are  just the same.
Hope this narrows it down a bit.
