my connection?

oh she's the wife of my Great-Uncle Bill.

she didn't re-marry, I just really want to insert her death year on my tree

OK now we know, so other than David Charles Beevers 1942 are you aware of any other children/marriages of your " "Great Uncle" Bill?

Can I suggest you check the 1966 marriage to Christopher Fenwick.  You can ask the GRO to only issue the cert if her fathers surname was Keightley.  If it’s the wrong one they will refund your money

You could spend £10 downloading either a copy of the 2000 will for Christopher Fenwick or the 2016 will for Marjorie Fenwick but neither may give you the identifying info you would get from the marriage cert.

Given the limited info and the fact that no death can be found under Beevers I can’t see any other way forward

they would actually refund if you pick the wrong thing?

You say child b 1948 is uncontactable?

Have you tried them with the shortened version of the christian name on Facebook?
They mention Solihull too,so I'm pretty sure it is the correct person.

ha! :) my experience of private messaging someone not on your friendslist on Facebook is that the message rarely gets seen

Choose one of the kids then, they seem to look at the private messages more often.

I have had a lot of success via Facebook, although a lot of people don't realise the Message Request page is there for a while.

As Liz says, nothing ventured nothing gained  ;)
