Here is the marriage for Timothy Leahy and Mary Forrest

February 12th 1839 witnesses Hannah Sullivan and John Symmonds. No other details unfortunately.

If you recall, I said that a baptism record was on Ancestry but I couldn’t find it in Irish records.
I have just trawled through these records and they are mixed up.

That’s fantastic - I found the baptisms of catherine and John in the register.

Though I’m not having much luck using findmypast to search Irish records.

Due to that problem with me locating the 1861 census for the Seabys I missed the connection with Forest back to Ireland. I’m really pleased and I think it’s starting to slit into place. Just need some confirmation from the certificates I’ve ordered :-)

Hi all

After much work on the Monmouthshire board, we now have this on the Leahy family. I'm wondering whether it is possible to track further back into Ireland, probably in the Cork City area:

I can't find any of these records in the parish registers or on Irish Genealogy.
When I looked for the place name I found it is St.Mary's RC parish not St.Peters.
Are they COI records?

maybe I'm just tired..
