Smith marriage
« on: Monday 26 February 18 14:41 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I wondered if someone could look up a marriage for me.  Henry Smith was born in Winchcomb, Gloucestershire in 1775. He married someone called mary but i don't know where or when. He died in 1841 also in Winchcomb, there are so many Smith's married in Gloucestershire to a Mary, i really don't know where to begin.

Many thanks in advance

Amanda Arrowsmith

I assume you mean this one  :-\

Mary Smith   65
Sarah Smith   35
Ann Puddle   15
Thos Jones   13

Y against her name indicates she was born in Gloucestershire, not necessarily Winchcomb

There are two earlier baptisms at Winchombe for Henry & Mary SMITH

George SMITH - 22 April 1809 - Henry & Mary SMITH of Greet

Richard SMITH - 7 August 1812 - Henry & Mary SMITH of Greet

(so looking for a marriage pre 1809)
