A will written 1800 in Leicester mentions property in Nottingham. Black Bull, Chapel Place, Nottingham. Where abouts is this. Might it be in the parish of Nottingham St Mary?

The Black Bull closed down in 1905 if it says Chapel Place now it is called Chapel Bar, Nottingham and its postcode is NG1 6JQ, St Marys postcode is NG1 1PF about 5-8 mins walk so yes it is st Marys which is city centre

Add: If it say 'chapel place' in the will the Black Bull address was in Chapel Bar see lost pubs http://www.closedpubs.co.uk/nottinghamshire/nottingham_ng1.html  that area of the city is the Chapel Quarter

Thanks to all of you.

There is no suitable birth/baptism in Leicestershire for the testator of the will (he was John BOND a baker) But in Nottingham St Mary is a possible baptism, we are not sure of a date of birth but likely early 1750's, also one for his sister Mary at exactly the right time. As she died after 1812 we have an age at death for her.
