His military record is on FindMyPast. It says that he was discharged from the Grenadier Guards on 14.7.1915 having been found no longer fit for war service. Perhaps that is why he isn't on the CWGC site. It looks as if he had Tuberculosis and died 10.7.1916.

as stated by groom record on FindMyPast

It also refers to his mother as next of kin when he enlisted in 1906 as Alice Maud ROBINSON, presumably she had remarried as he had siblings: Henry, Margaret & Maud DANIEL.

What type of information are you looking for?

His record notes that he died in July 1916 and, given his disability was accepted as related to his service for pension purposes, one would have thought he fitted the criteria for CWGC burial - I presume they needed to be informed?

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

Thanks to you all.
I am compiling a military history of all the men KIA on my local War Memorial and have so little on JVD plenty on his family and grave etc. So I was hoping to get something that I could add to his actual service.
Thanks

If his death certificate states cause of death as related to military service then you could submit it to CWGC to see if they would add him to their database and national roll of honour on CWGC.
