India: Harriet BENTLEY, born 1831 Madras

Would there be any records to confirm that Harriet BENTLEY was born in Madras in 1831, possibly of a military family?

The British Library has the surviving ecclesiastical records from British India and they have made their way online with FindMyPast.

They are only approx 70% complete, and the majority of them are of an Anglican (Church of England) persuasion. Yes, there are other denominations but they are in the minority.

FindMyPast also has the GRO overseas birth records, again not complete.

There isn't an entry for Harriet.

I had researched FindMyPast and, except for the 1861 Census, also had a NIL return.  She is, I'm afraid, a very elusive lady.
