Parish Death/Burial Record Request - Elizabeth Moore - 1879 Stockport First

I've located a record in the BMD December 1879 for Elizabeth Moore who died in Stockport First. Hoping the parish record might offer more information. Any help would be very much appreciated!

No age given - she was 52 as per freebmd.  Stockport First was the sub district as per www.cheshirebmd.org.uk

What kind of info are you expecting from any burial record?

I was hoping there would be reference to place of birth or marital status i.e husband present at death or "wife of xxx" that type of thing. Am I barking up the wrong tree for that type of thing?

So sorry, I hadn't seen the lower part of your message. If she is who I hope, she was living on Benisons Court, St. Mary's, Stockport in 1871. (Stockport First)

Yes if you are expecting it from a burial record. 

Death certs for that period do not show birthplaces but would show where she died and whether the person reporting the death was related

Anybody could report a death so there is no guarantee her death was reported by her husband

Can you suggest any other sources that might offer that type of information?

You would have to buy a copy of the 1879 death cert and hope there was sufficient info on it to help you establish if she is the right entry.

Death certs aren't always guaranteed to yield the best source of info as they are dependent on who reported the death and how well the informant knew the deceased
