Singapore Marriage between 1920 and 1928 ,Charles Stewart
« on: Wednesday 28 February 18 19:59 GMT (UK) »
Hi ,
Charles William Adams Stewart born in 1875 was a Scottish sea captain. He married  twice.
Both times in Singapore. His first Wife Mary Constance Leicester died in 1920.
Sometime between 1920 and 1928 he married a lady whose Christian name was Ethel.
I am tying to find when and where in Singapore they married. It has to be between 1920 and 1928.
They returned to the U.K. on many occasions and finally settled in Leeds where Charles died in 1946.
Can anyone please help ?

I don't think so. Ethel gave her age in 1928 as 40.  In 1933 the same she gave her age as 40 !!!

My answer is I dont know and the only record I have is ships passenger lists with the answers you see above. I sadly have nothing else with any dates.
