Dorothv Middler speaks Vows to James Siddall at an informal ceremony on Saturday, July 12, Dorothy Middler, daughter of the Alexander J. Middlers, of Littlefield Ave,  became the bride of James Siddall, son of Mrs. Ruth Siddall, of Marlowe Ave. The wedding took place  at noon in Botsford Tavern. The bride wore a gown of white marquisette with bands of Inserted lace. Her veil was held by a fluster of white flowers, and she carried a bouquet of whits speclosum  lilies, larkspur, and delphinium. The bridesmaid, the bride's sister Margaret, wore pink chiffon with a shirred bodice, and carried Joanna Hill roses with blue larkspur. The best man was Warren Hart. The brides mother wore navy and white crepe, with a white hat. and a corsage of sweet peas. Mr. Siddall's mother wore an embroidered rose dress, with a blue hat and white corsage. Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Harley, of Barton Hills, Ann Arbor - Mr. and Mrs. George Arthur Somerville, the bridegroom's uncle and aunt from Ottawa -  Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hart, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley A. Burns, the bride's brother-ln-law and sister - her brother, Alexander G. Middler -  Dorothy Campbell and Mrs. Anthony McGinnis. The wedding was followed by a luncheon, after which the couple left on a wedding trip through Northern Michigan. They are now at home in Detroit.

Obituary for Harriet Pohrt (wife of Alexander George Middler) - Harriet Middler, 88, died
25 February 2011.
She was born in Flint, Mich., April 17, 1922, the daughter of Henry and Irmengard Pohrt.
She was predeceased by her husbands, John Riley and Alexander Middler, and a sister,
Gardie etc etc.,
