Just leaving this for now, a possibility for Catherine born c. 1841. She is showing at home in 1851. Can't easily see her so far for 1861.

There is a marriage on 12 July 1869 in Rathen between a Peter Whyte and a Catherine Buchan.

They have children from FS up to 1875 index:

1871 Peter
1872 Peter
1874 Robert Buchan

There looks to be a death in Fraserburgh in 1880 for a Catherine Buchan/White, aged 38.
