I wonder why the marriage was registered in Potterspury?
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Here is her probate record Adelaide Emily Churd of 3,Brook Road Loughton Essex widow died 14 April 1958 at Cransbrook Nursing Home Epping Essex ...Probate London 5 June ....will pm you family names

Thanks, yes, I have seen that, and I know that at least one of the grantees has died, and probably the other too.

Although the marriage records at Sapperton don't appear on Ancestry, they are on Freereg and an later date?  i.e. 3 days later than at Sapperton

Yes, so it looks as if maybe Betsy's family home was in Cosgrove. Though she was born in Lincolnshire.
