I am looking for  the parents of Rev George Atchison who I believe was United Methodist pastor of Union Church, Woodford.
 Essex from about 1875 to 1900.

Have you found him on census to give us some idea as to where and when he was born  :-\

Rev George Atchison married Mary Beatrice Tozer 22 April 1881 at the Union Church, Woodford. He was the pastor of this church at the time of his marriage.

It would appear that George on the 1881 is recorded as a widower with a young child -

The above marriage cert would help to find the father's name of George and confirm the above census details.

Elizabeth Jane Atchison died 16 January 1879.

Looking for the children's births from the 1861 previously posted, it would appear that their mother's maiden name was Dickeson. This could be George's birth -
