Sutton Coldfield Burial register
« on: Saturday 03 March 18 16:49 GMT (UK) »
Would anyone know where I can find the Parish burial register for Holy Trinity, Sutton Coldfield March 1908.

Would it be at Staffordshire or Warwick, Although I am quite sure I have looked at Warwick before and its not there.

I have just found in the Sutton Coldfield burial index I obtained from the Birmingham Library a while ago.

Charles Henry Mansell
register of burials number 269 folio 14. register of graves number 311 folio 103.
I know he died 14/3/1908 because I have the death certificate.

I would say Warwickshire.  Ancestry has burial registers up to 1874.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

If it is him he died in Wiggington Infirmary, Staffordshire and it was registered under Tamworth.

I still say Warwickshire for the burial registers for Holy Trinity.

He may have died in Wiggington Hospital, in Tamworth, and his death was registered under Tamworth, but where he is buried is down to the family.

According to the information I have from Staffordshire Records Office, they do not hold any records for Sutton Coldfield.
