Looking for the parents of. John Skinner born 1828 Luton could be Limbury area. He was married to a Sophia Bygrave. And they had a daughter called Ann Skinner. His occupation would be interesting to know. Thankyou

Have you looked for him on the 1841 census which is available on Family Search?

Who did he name as his father on his marriage cert?

If you are looking for his occupation that would be shown on any census entry

Marriage was in Biggleswade Registration District, 1849.
8 January 1840, Southill, Bedfordshire
John Skinner to Sophia Bygrave
Fathers: Samuel Skinner and Samuel Bygrave

Could this be them in 1851?

Birth Date - 14 Feb 1828
Baptism Date - 18 May 1828
Baptism Place - Wesleyan, Biggleswade Circuit, Bedford
Father - Samuel Skinner
Mother - Martha

As per the BFHS Surnames Index CD a John Skinner married at Southill in 1849 as did a Sophia Bygrave. Southill is in the Biggleswade RD.

Sophia Bygrave was baptised at Southill in 1828 where it says her abode was Broom. 

Daughter was Mary Ann Skinner baptised Southill in 1849 abode Biggleswade
