 :) What a family, I can locate Edward b 1840 with his parents Joseph b c 1818 occ Brass Hinge Maker or Brass Founder with wife Mary Ann b c 1814 with sisters Mary A b c 1843 and Sarah b c 1850, I have Joseph/Mary Ann and Sarah until 1871 census.

Sarah Hickton Calton married a Widowed Ebenezer Lowe 24th December 1872 Birmingham, St Phillips.

Hi again, it may well be that the family also used the surname Hickton as the Edward b 1872 married to Florence Tandy is a Hickton in 1901 census occ Rag & Bone Gatherer.

Thanks both of you.  Its was the surname that caused me the problem, not finding them after the marriage.
