John Clark & Elizabeth marriage c1714

Hi

I have 3 children born 1761/1719/1722 in Great Shelford, but no parish record of a wedding. Ther are 2 marriages in Cambridge

1. John  Clark Married Elizabeth North 23/2/1714 at All Saints Church, Cambridge

2. John Clark married Elizabeth Salmon  14/3/1713 St Mary the Great Cambridge Does anyone please have access to the Bishops transcripts which might show place of abode for the couples,
which might indicate if any of them came from Great Shelford.

The John Clark marriage to Elizabeth North gives the grrom's location as Waterbeech and the bride's as Fenn Ditton. This couple married by licence, which you may be able to find at a local record office.

This was amongst Cambridgeshire marriages on Find My Past, but I couldn't see the other marriage there, unless mistranscribed.

The transcript of the John Clark/Elizabeth Salmon marriage on F M P gives the grooms surname as CLACK

The same surname ( Clack) is also given in Phillimores Marriage registers.

Phillimores does state both parties were 'of the parish'
