I am a Trustee of Bisley Village Hall which was previously the Chapel of The Shaftesbury School and the Farm School in Bisley, Surrey. The schools later amalgamated and were called Bisley School.
We have started a Heritage Project to bring together pictures, and memories of boys who attended the schools and staff who worked there.
We have managed to contact boys who were at the school and some staff too. With the help of Surrey Heath Museum and our local historian we hope to put together some lasting memory boards about the schools to be displayed in the Village Hall. We have a growing collection of pictures and other mementoes.
We are holding a presentation event about the schools and an information gathering afternoon on Sunday 29th April 2018 2 -5 p.m. at Bisley Village Hall with tea & cakes. Please reply if you are interested and are able to come to this event or contact via website
