The initial collection on MyHeritage includes an index, without images.  ;)

My first thought was "Perhaps their version has been better transcribed". But then I saw the sentence Rosie saw.

Not impressed with MyH generally. Their "Smart Matches" are often very vague approximations.

Ancestry in a reply to a comment on their Facebook page have said they are to get the 1939 Register too.  I would imagine it'll be the same as MyHeritage, at least initially transcripts.

I thought FindMyPast were supposed to have quite a long exclusivity period?!

Findmypast released the 1939 National Register on line on 15 November 2015 so they have had a reasonable exclusivity period.
I do not know of the terms of the latest releases whether they include images yet or whether they are restricted to transcripts for a further period.
If there is still a restriction on the images then to all intents and purposes FindMyPast are still the only worthwhile on line providers of the 1939.
Cheers
Guy

PS in addition MyHeritage are only updating redacted records once per year.

I wonder how much priority Ancestry would give to updating the 1939.  :-\
