George Foot of Batcombe
« on: Monday 05 March 18 21:04 GMT (UK) »
George Foot was born in 1850 in Batcombe Dorset. I am trying to find his baptism date but the Batcombe OPC records appear to be missing for 1850. I wonder if there is another source?  Many thanks  Mark

Very many thanks. I wonder if by any chance you know his wife's baptism date? She was Mary Ann Thorne of Brockhampton, Buckland Newton around 1952. Her parents were David Thorne and Margaret Legg. A sibling was baptised in Buckland Newton.

Many thanks, Mark

Many thanks. I am surprised that my search of Buckland Newton appear to have drawn a blank. The Thorne's had a long association with that parish and I notice that one of her siblings was baptised there.

Thanks again,

Mark
