Alfred Selby and Harriett Rodgers, 1849 Sheffield

Hello all,

Are there fathers listed for Alfred and Harriett in their marriage record? I found Alfred living with his widowed mother Mary in the 1841 census, but can't find christening records for him so no idea who his father was. Not many candidates in the 1841 census for young Harriett either.

I wonder if this was his baptism

Baptism 23 Oct 1825 at Sheffield, Cathedral Church of St Peter & St Paul  Parents Alexander and Mary Selby

I notice that in 1841 James had an older brother Alexander and there is a also a baptism of a Alexander Selby on 25 Feb 1821 at the same church with parents Alexander and  Mary (Other baptisms with the same parents Alfred 1825, Ann 1819, Lucy 1817 and Mary 1823)

In 1841 there was an Alexander Selby age 60 in the Sheffield Infirmary  https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MQ59-L6P   and the NBI has a burial of an Alexander Selby age 56 on 11 Nov 1841 at St Marys Sheffield
