I canít see any evidence to support the Dempster name for Mary Ann, Iím afraid.  What is the source for that?

Thanks for the help.

Dempster was listed on one of the records I'd found in previous research.  After further digging, it looks like her name was Tomlin instead.

I have a feeling that DEMPSTER was the name of Geo B snr's step-father.

If you look for Henry S DEMPSTER in 1870 in Philly-you'll see Geo B MORRIS and Clara MORRIS sort of "squeezed" into the DEMPSTER family.
 
In 1860 the family are transcribed as DINSISTER (Philly).
