Frederick Rouse
« on: Wednesday 07 March 18 17:32 GMT (UK) »
Hi, trying to help a friend with this gentleman. Frederick was born 1888 in the Crickhowell reg dist. He appers on the 1891 census there. Can anyone please give me details of the census and who else is in the household. Cannot find him in 1901. He marries in 1913 and from there on my friend has details.
Thanks
John

That,s the one I thought it was but mother would have been 51 when he was born, not impossible but unlikely.

The birth registration does not show a mothers maiden name (possibly illegitimate)

I suspect he is probably grandson, not son

Mmm - not sure why she marries as Elizabeth Rouse. Following son Rees from 1901, here's 1881

Rees Trivett    25
Elizabeth Trivett    20
Rees Trivett    1
Catherine Trivett

RG11, 5464, 70, 20

Young Rees & Catherine have mmn Rouse. Rees & Elizabeth married Q1 1880 (spelled Trevett)

Catherine  dies in infancy. A second Catherine is b 1882. There's a potential other child William b Bradford in 1890 (surname spelled Triffett)

Cant find any trace of Rees snr again or the others on 1891
