Well I now have the marriage certificate.

 :( :( :(

Sadly its not my Sarah Ann Mansell that married Ezekiel Plimmer. So I still have to find out what happened to Sarah after 1911.

I wonder if there is any information anywhere on people who died in the Tamworth Workhouse.

I am now looking at a marriage:- Sarah A Mansell - William Beresford March qtr 1916 Ashbourne

Death Sarah A Beresford aged 63 Dec qtr 1932 Ashbourne. My Sarah was born 11/6/1869.

If I could some how only order the certificate and say I only want to have it if her father is William Griffin. Or the death certificate if the date of birth matched.

Hi I think you can specify on a marriage certificate request that you only want it if the fathers name is William - I think they charge you £6 not £10 I cant remember if early death certificate have the date of birth on

I have only just noticed John's message that is fantastic that is her  :) :) :) :) :) :)

Thank you so much, I didn't get an email with your message on only the one from Willow and I looked at it on my mobile which said well spotted. I thought it was in reply to the marriage I said I was looking at.

Sarah's father was William Griffin not Griffith but I am sure its just an error.

There is another thing I noticed as well.

Sarah and my great grandad had a daughter called Annie born in 1905 in the workhouse and was baptised at Drayton Bassett, in 1911 she was living with a  Davis family at Amington, Tamworth.

Now I also wondered if when Sarah married William Beresford Annie became Annie Beresford because there is a marriage Annie E Beresford Dec qtr 1927 Ashbourne 7b 1743 to a George R Wagstaff. Although its the first time for the E.

Hi
I wonder if it does say Griffin. Hard to be sure, the end of the name is a bit obscured by the F in Farm Labourer.
