Southwold (Blything Reg District) Suffolk
« on: Thursday 08 March 18 11:46 GMT (UK) »
Does anyone know if the marriage records for the Blything Reg District are online anywhere? I can only seem to find them up until the 1830's.
Many Thanks

If you post your exact request I may be able to look this up for you at the RO this week.

Registration Districts came into being when Civil Registration started - they are concerned with Birth, Marriage & Death Certificates.

The indexes (from 1st July 1837) are available at www.freeBMD.org.uk, or at the GRO www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates.

The certificates themselves are NOT viewable anywhere - you have to buy them.

Perhaps you meant the Parish records from Blything parish?
