Must admit, thought I was going mad with the Date of Death Field missing.  Thank you so much for finding her - really appreciate the help.  This whole branch of the family are proving to be a challenge, but one step forward!

Is it me or have Ancestry removed the date of death field from searches?

They have removed it. In effect, they have uploaded a marriage search form to the London deaths/burials database, showing spouse details, instead of a death search form. I have raised it with them three times in the last week, but have received no reply.

Reply now received from Ancestry, showing that at least it's been 'logged' as a problem ...

I am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, however I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. I have forwarded this on to our site developers in order for them to investigate further. Unfortunately I cannot give you a time frame for when this may be resolved, however I can assure you we will be working to find a fix as soon as possible.I hope this helps!
