I'm very lucky & do appreciate everyone's great work - it's been a joy having all these family photos being given a whole new life. They are now being enjoyed by family in the USA, Canada, New Zealand & Australia as well as in the UK.

I am trying to get the best possible images for the talented people on here to work with

As an old boss of mine once said, "When you can't work with what you want, you have to work with what you've got!"

I do tend to overcook when trying to eliminate the pixelation of lo-res images. Unfortunately, unless you are an artist (which I definitely aint) its all to easy to end up with skin texture that looks like a party balloon.
