My great great great grandparent's Christopher Howard and Mary Bride lived in Edenfield circa 1850s 1890s before that possibly Baldoyle

Their last child Catherine was born 1865 in Edenfield, Dundrum

I agree Sinann

I don't know specifically where Edenfield was but in Dundrum there are many addresses ending in -field
Airfield, Annefield, Campfield, Rockfield, Larchfield, etc.

Edenfield was the home of Henry Hutton, an engineer, he died there on April 2 1878 LINK

Henry Hutton JP lived at Edenfield in 1845-1847 period LINK

The Journal of Old Baldoyle refers to the Huttons which refers to Henry Hutton living at Edenfield LINK
It implies that Edenfield was a house and still in existence in 1878

if you switch between the different Griffith maps the name of the building changes from Edenfield to Eden park
