Thank you for your encouragement. I phone Ashcroft Cemetery Office and was told that Aunty Edith had been buried on 3rd January 1936 at Weaste Cemetery plot H-766.

Thanks Ken, this will be helpful. Although born in Salford I live on the east coast of England but we have a touring caravan and when the touring season starts we may pop over and make a search. When her sister Edith died my mam inherited some of her things which I've now passed on to a 2nd cousin. I promised to write a biography of her great aunt Edith. I'm trying to put that together now. Thanks so much. What perfect photos and what a treasure trove of information. Jannett and Thomas are my great grandparents. Baby Thomas, Edith and Albert are my mother's sister and brothers and therefore my aunt and uncles. Arthur is my mother's uncle by marriage. Baby Thomas died of meningitis. Except for Uncle Albert, who used to visit for his summer holidays, they all died before I was born.
