ATS Uniform

The young lady below is the great aunt of a friend of mine.  All he knows about her wartime life is that she was in the ATS.  Can anything else be gleaned from her uniform?

Think the badge on battle dress means she was attached to Royal Artillery possibly Anti Aircraft Battery

Military pedantry - she has put her lanyard on the wrong shoulder but makes up for it by wearing Gunner buttons.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiJgew_bzj0  The side hat (common term) was an alternative to the awful peaked cap.  They served in both anti-aircraft and searchlight units, in the latter later in the war forming all ATS units.

Interesting  :)  It's clear on the video that they all had lanyards on the right - I wonder why she had hers on the left.  Perhaps the photographer thought it would look better that way!!

Thanks for the info.
