Whatever happend to George Robb
« on: Monday 12 March 18 13:59 GMT (UK) »
George Robb was born in 1884 in Perthshire Scotland. When he was young his parents and family moved to the Forest of Dean.  In 1906 he married Lily Ada Reed in London but continued to live in The F.O.D.
In 1934 Lily died . Five years later in March qtr 1939 George married again to a widow from Neath South Wales called Lucy Ellen Morgan .They married however in Weston-super-Mare registration district.  But by the September 1939 registration they were living apart , Lucy in South Wales and George ( I think) in Somerset.
My question is whatever happened to George ?

Yes .That is Lucy's death. She went for a walk in the park and fell into a pond and drowned.

Did he have siblings Lilian Margaret (Evans)  & Jean Mildred (Salter)  :-\
They are named on a probate for 1951

He did not as far as I am aware however in the census of 1891 he had two of many siblings Maggie and Jeannie ...It is a Scottish family.
May I ask what part of the world was the probate ?

It is a pleasure  :)

Liverpool reg district.  I was only trying to eliminate but I suspect they were a lot younger than him having checked their marriages.  Jean M married Weston reg district.

I think I need to widen my search  ;D
