Between 1936 and 1974. Long Ashton was part of the WSM REG DIST.
in the 1939 Registration there was a George Robb living in the Bond Household of Long Ashton.
If my partial FindMyPast is correct he was born in 1884....but I cannot confirm as I do not have 1939 reg,

Hi,
I have searched to see when they left Scotland.
In 1891 they had......
Isabella Robb  8  born in Scotland
George Robb   7 b in Scotland
James Robb    5   b Cinderford
Jane Robb       3  b Cinderford
Maggie Robb   4/12  b Cinderford.

I will check now for any other info.
Oh and be careful there are 2 george Robb's b 1884 in Scotland living down that area also another born in Cambridge the same year.
Maggsie

Thank you Rosie , Thank you also for being so clear and concise . Thank you also from my Parson Jack Russell  whose name is Alf  who got to stay indoors until the rain stopped while I watched you solve my family history problem.

Thanks.

Glad we managed to solve it.   :)

Hope Alf enjoyed his walk.  We had a wire haired fox terrier when I was small, he was really lovely. My current spaniel is Alfie  ;D
