Andrew McKernan in the USA
« on: Monday 12 March 18 14:48 GMT (UK) »
Hi All,
can anyone help me with this.  I think I might have found my Andrew Kernan.

This is what I know so far this is a scan of his marriage.

Could this be his naturalization?

Yes.

This name is also familiar.  Andrew was mentioned on a number of threads wasn't he ? Andrew McKernan and Biddy/Bridget ?

Hi Sandra,
As far as remember all the others didn't work out as the wifes had different surnames.

So hopefully maybe this might be the one as he was born around the right time

Thanks again for all your help

Apart from the naturalization showing Andrew Kernan was 58 years old and naturalized in 1869 - what other information do you have on him.  Was he married ? Did he have children ?  When do you think he immigrated to the USA. ?

The Andrew I am looking for married in 1835 back in Ireland to Bridget or Biddy Haran or Heron and they had a daughter Margaret in 1848.  So he went after then when I don't know.

This is a tough one to crack.
