I have attached a marriage notice from the Belfast News-Letter, dated December 11, 1849 which names these three people. The wedding took place in Dublin, where the Morgans lived. It also indicates that Rev. Courtenay was the bride's brother-in-law.
My understanding is that Caroline Morgan, daughter of Alderman Lewis Morgan (1784-1832) and Caroline (nee Murdoch), had three sisters, Catherine, Letitia and Jane, none of whom was married.
I am hoping for some help to shed light on who this Rev. Courtenay was, and why he was described as Caroline Morgan's brother-in-law.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
With thanks.

It says Charles L Courtenay but I wonder if it should be Charles S Courtenay.
You can see his signature on the marriage here. (and an address if someone can read it)

Found this online by googling 'charles seaver courtenay'

The Reverend Charles Seaver Courtenay was Thomas Edgeworth Courtenay's first cousin as his father, Henry Courtenay, was the elder brother of Thomas Edgeworth Courtenay's father Charles Courtenay; their mutual grandfather was Edward of Harrymount.

They also had

To be "the bride's brother-in-law" he would be married to her sister or her husband's sister
As she was a spinster when she married would rule out the latter.

Rev. Courtenay could have been married twice
