Thomas Rivett married in Shoreditch 1792
« on: Wednesday 14 March 18 17:56 GMT (UK) »
I have been doing research into various Rivett families, which descend from Thomas Rivett and Elizabeth Hudson, who married at Shoreditch in 1792. They then moved to Bermondsey. Does anyone know where Thomas was born, and when?

Wonder if Thomas was a widower -Marriage St Leonards 25/7/1784 Thomas Rivett and Mary Martha Brind?

Elizabeth seems to still be alive in 1841 census born in the county in Bermondsey.

Hi Jennifer, and thank you. Yes I do wonder if he was married twice, but I have not seen a copy of the Shoreditch parish registers. I thought maybe Thomas could be the TR born in Leicestershire in 1767, but probably not if he was married in 1784. I am not related to these people, but I believe Roger Rivett is descended from Thomas and Elizabeth. He was married to Sandra Hensby, murdered by Lord Lucan in 1974.
