Cousins of father Nash Street Dublin about 1920
« on: Wednesday 14 March 18 20:49 GMT (UK) »
My family were very active in Dublin during War of Independence and fairly certain these are 4 brothers and cousins of my father and photos taken about 1920 to 1923. Would be nice to have it cleaned up as I intend cropping the individual lads for an album. Thanking you

Had a go, Pat. Unfortunately, up close there's not a lot to work with, so don't know if it will be good enough for your album.

I agree with Peter: unfortunately there's not much detail left in this photo. My try, anyway.

Is the 'original' on this thread from a photocopy?

I thought newspaper at first, but maybe not . . . .not quite coarse enough for that!

Grateful for the efforts here considering the poor quality of the photo I submitted. The improvements in the sharpness of the faces will allow me crop and end up with far better individual profiles. Thanks to a terrific bunch of people who do so much. Pat
